Hey everyone! Jentu here! I hope everyone is staying safe during these trying times (June 2020 for those reading in the future). Welcome to the very first blog post. I’ll keep it short and sweet because today’s post is mainly about things under-the-hood.
I decided to make a new community where hopefully the chiptune artists around the globe who currently feel a bit lost can unite with each other. I also saw an opportunity to make the community I was in previously better. Well, that’s the plan at least.
I started out the day creating the logo and symbol (which is supposed to represent the sun behind the horizon line, creating twilight. I’m trying to differentiate from vampires and werewolves as much as I possibly can and branding is one way I believe will get us there haha. The pixel art on the home page is likely going to change within the next few days since I commissioned a pixel artist to create a custom background for us to use.
I spent a few days dealing with creating new social media platforms for HyperTwilight so we have room to grow. HyperTwilight has planted flags in numerous places today including:
